Do I really pay after you design the website?
Yes! There is no financial commitment required (not even a down payment) until after you’ve seen the website, decide that you love it and want to us to launch it for you.
We started Pay Later Designs because we noticed that many platforms or design agencies aren’t transparent and don’t disclose the limitations of their product to customers before they sign up. This often leads to getting a website that may look great but doesn’t support the features that are essential to your business and loss of time and money.
We let you know up front what is or isn’t possible and if we run into any hiccups after starting your project, we’ll let you know right away. We take all the risk and do the work upfront so you can be sure that your website will not only look good, but include the functionality you need to grow your business online.
How does it work?
We start by meeting to discuss your plans for your website. This is to ensure that we understand your business and what you’re trying to achieve. This way, we don’t waste each other’s time and we’ll 100% let you know if what you want isn’t something we can deliver.
You can opt to skip this call and send us information about the website you’d like to launch and we’ll let you know if we can create it.
We will need to collect information from you to create the content for your website. This may include photos, a logo (if you already have one), contact information so visitors can reach out to you and a basic description of yourself/business and the products or services you offer. We’ll send you a simple onboarding form to submit these details and upload any file/documents you’d like us to use in the design process.
What platforms can you build my website on?
We currently design websites on the top 5 platforms:
GoDaddy, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix and WordPress.
We will design your website on the platform of your choice and if you’re not sure which is the right option for you, we’ll analyze your business needs and recommend the best options.
What if I already have a website?
Not a problem! We offer 2 options for customers that already have a website:
1. We can revamp/redesign the website on the existing platform. For example, you have a Wix website and are satisfied with their platform but need some help to get it refreshed.
2. We can redesign the website on another platform of your choice from the 5 that we currently support. For example, you may like your GoDaddy website, but want to switch to WordPress because of the added customizability it offers.
Whatever your needs may be, send us the link to your existing website in our onboarding form and let us know what you’d like to do and we’ll let you know how we can help.
Do you provide domain, hosting, emails…?
No, we don’t provide any hosting, domain or email services. We are a website design agency and we focus on what we do best – giving you high-quality designs to launch and scale your online presence.
You will be able to set up hosting and other features with paid plans from the website platform of your choice. WordPress websites will have several hosting providers to choose from, however we recommend Bluehost or Hostinger.
What if I’m not sure which platform I want to use?
If you’re not sure which platform is the right option for you, book your free website consultation and we will discuss your business needs to determine the best fit.
Keep in mind that each platform has its own benefits or drawbacks regarding supported features, pricing and how easy it is to use the website editor. (But don’t worry, we’ll help you figure it out!)
Based on your business industry and what you’re trying to achieve, we will share what you can expect from each platform and recommend the one (or two) that would work well for you.
What features, designs and integrations are included?
Our website packages include a host of features and designs customized to your goals, preferences and vision for your website. Keep in mind that each platform has its own limitations on specific features such as product/service limits, what payment processors/POS/inventory tracking systems can be integrated or booking platforms to be connected.
At Pay Later Designs, we create websites covering over 100 different business categories from those opening an online store to sell physical products, businesses with a physical location looking to accept online orders or appointments, to solo entrepreneurs or professionals selling their physical/digital products such as music, artwork, books, photography, online courses and and much more.

Do you provide custom web development?
No, we don’t provide any kind of custom development for website designs. Any advanced functionality that you need for your website must be available within the selected platform or possible by integrating existing third-party apps.
